Made in Italy kitchens<\/em> are highly valued and exported worldwide. One of the leading players in this sector is undoubtedly the Marche-based company Lube<\/strong>, which chose Trascar to enhance the efficiency of its production chain. This was achieved through the design, construction, and testing of a high-performance automated warehouse<\/strong>, which for the past five years has ensured the efficient handling of production and shipping flows.<\/p>\n

Lube is the leading Italian company in terms of kitchen production and sales volumes, requiring flawless supply chain<\/strong> management. For this reason, the Marche-based group also includes a transport company, ensuring efficient and fast deliveries to its branded retail stores worldwide.<\/p>\n

The complex challenge posed by the new automated warehouse at Lube’s production facility, located in the province of Macerata, was taken on by Trascar and successfully overcome thanks to close collaboration with the client, whose needs were fully met. The new system has reduced manual handling of packages by 70% and forklift traffic by 55%.<\/strong> At the same time, it has increased handling capacity and order preparation punctuality, bringing shipping errors down to nearly zero.<\/p>\n

Sfida accettata e vinta<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cAbbiamo accettato questa sfida e oggi, nel nuovo magazzino automatico che abbiamo realizzato per Lube, continuano a operano 8 trasloelevatori, ciascuno con un\u2019altezza di 22 metri ed una lunghezza corsia di 85 metri. Sono inoltre dotati di due livelli di presa con 16 mono forche telescopiche, per movimentare colli di piccole dimensioni, come mensole e ripiani, ma anche colli che possono raggiungere 1,6 metri di lunghezza. La capacit\u00e0 complessiva di stoccaggio a scaffale arriva fino a 15.000 colli, con una prestazione in ingresso di quasi 800 colli\/ora ed un flusso di quasi 1000 colli\/ora in uscita. Il magazzino \u00e8 alimentato da 4 linee di produzione e dai commercializzati provenienti dall\u2019esterno.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tutto il sistema di stoccaggio e smistamento colli garantisce l\u2019afflusso della merce alle 12 baie di carico automezzi dove vengono spedite circa 400 cucine complete ogni giorno. L\u2019obiettivo era migliorare la velocit\u00e0 e la precisione, ora tutti i pezzi che escono dalle linee di produzione vengono controllati, orientati ed etichettati, poi, attraverso linee aeree, giungono al magazzino automatico. Qui, tramite un sorter, i colli vengono smistati ai rispettivi trasloelevatori e disposti sugli scaffali seguendo una complessa logica di stoccaggio: il sistema \u00e8 stato progettato per garantire la disposizione su un\u2019unica campata di tutti i componenti di una cucina, per velocizzare i tempi di prelievo ed abbattere la possibilit\u00e0 di errore. Global and five-year management of all warehouse operations.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The entire system has been designed to be managed by a specific WMS software developed by Trascar<\/strong> based on the customer’s requirements. The IT system meticulously controls the sequence of kitchen units intended for shipment, ensuring the simultaneous management of up to 12 trucks.
The items are directly placed inside the articulated lorries via a set of 12 telescopic conveyors powered by corresponding gravity lines<\/em>, thus facilitating the loading process for operators.
In addition to the automatic warehouse, the WMS software also manages operations in the various manual warehouses on the Lube production site, as well as the receipt of all third-party appliances and the truck loading verification.
Therefore, the customer always has real-time access to the exact overall warehouse status and can ensure that shipments are made without any order composition errors. <\/p>\n
