Error-proof variability: this is the Trascar’s Automatic Warehouse System that supports the reliability of competitive Companies.
It is possible to efficiently combine the variability of products with reliability in the preparation of shipments. Obviously, if Trascar is present to project and build an automatic warehouse for you that fully achieves these objectives. Who produces, for example, compound and semi-finished ingredients for pastry and ice cream shops with several hundred references available in the catalogue, knows very well that the market requires a lot of flexibility and precision in delivery. Reducing errors and speeding up the handling of 240 cartons / h in and out, despite the high variability of composition of each individual pallet, was the target largely achieved by Trascar in the project created for GUIDO GIUSO Spa.
The Trascar system starts from the automatic line for cartoning the bags of prepared product using an anthropomorphic robot. From 4 production lines, cartons are placed through overhead conveyors on an access line to the automatic warehouse, composed by 25 dynamic shelves which, 80 meters long and 14 meters high, hold cartons of different sizes and weights in a double line. In fact, two Trascar miniloads, each with two lateral telescopic brackets, take care of storing and then recovering up to 2 cartons at time, following the map of the WMS – Warehouse Management Software, which optimizes performances of the automatic storage system according to the available variables: positions, spaces, formats, performance of the machines.
Similarly, it optimizes the pallet composition phase according to the truck loading sequence, the destination and the carrier, accordingly ordering the box picking sequence. An automatic labelling machine affixes standard or customized labels on cartons before exit. The operators in 11 order preparation channels wait for cartons to check their weight, dimensions and production line for the product traceability and for composition of pallet.
Included in the supply is the semi-automatic warehouse for pallets for the management of raw materials and pallets ready for shipment, recovered from a tri-lateral with man on board, guided by the radio frequency WMS in order to locate the right pallet; finally, the fire-prevention system for the automatic warehouse, of the foam type to optimize shooting at the height of levels, complete with water reserve tank, pumps and mixer.
