Technology description
Automatic mixed-case palletising makes it possible to build heterogeneous load units quickly, precisely and safely. The system analyses the characteristics of each case and determines its optimal position, improving pallet stability and use of available volume. A flexible solution for automating order preparation, increasing productivity and reducing manual activities.
Software plays a central role: the WonderWay WMS governs the case-release sequence, pallet composition by product family and the physical stability of the final pallet, pre-calculating the optimal arrangement and releasing cases in the perfect order. The result is higher throughput without sacrificing accuracy, optimised footprint and a lower cost per case.
